So tonight, while going through Instagram, we came across Yada_Awakening talking about being apart from his wife, and I’m not even going to lie — I was disappointed hearing this.

This is a man who has spent the last few years coaching and speaking to people about relationships. We’ve heard him talk about how a man is supposed to treat a woman, respect a woman, provide for his woman and stop being a bum in a relationship. He has had A LOT to say about what men need to do to make relationships work.

But now we’re seeing trouble in paradise, and naturally, people are going to have questions. From what I got from all of this was, the wife claims that Yada was abusive. Now, I think that he could not have been perfect but yet she still took the money from him and then now saying he was not the best guy.

WHAT REALLY HAPPENED?

I’m not going to sit here and judge their marriage because none of us lived inside their home. And I will give him credit for seemingly trying to discuss the situation without publicly tearing his wife down. I actually respect that.

But come on, people. You can’t build a platform around telling everybody else how relationships and marriages are supposed to work and then expect people not to wonder what happened when your own relationship appears to be falling apart. That’s where it starts looking a little hypocritical.

If everything we’ve been shown online is accurate — the nice home, providing for your family, taking care of your woman and everything else — then what was missing?

Was it communication? Was there something happening behind closed doors? Were they simply no longer compatible? Did one person become unhappy? Or is there an entirely different side to this story that social media never got to see? We don’t know.

And THAT is exactly my point. Social media will have you thinking somebody has the perfect marriage, the perfect house, the perfect relationship and all the answers. Meanwhile, there can be an entirely different reality happening when those cameras turn off.

You can talk a good game. You can give great advice. You can look like you have everything together. But at the end of the day, nobody’s relationship is perfect. And sometimes the very people teaching everybody else how to maintain a relationship are dealing with struggles in their own.

I genuinely hope they both find peace and that whatever is happening between them is handled respectfully. But I’m still sitting here wondering: What really happened?

Because this was NOT the news I expected to hear. Sometimes social media shows us the presentation. Real life eventually reveals that there was much more to the story.
