Yo, so we finally got somebody lined up for the show, and honestly this is about to be a real interesting conversation. We got Kennilos Ninja Sun coming through to ForumCast, and if you know anything about independent comic creators, then you probably already heard about his comic book Ninja Sun.

What caught my attention about him wasn’t just the comic itself, but the grind behind it. A lot of Black creators out here are trying to build something from the ground up without major companies backing them, and sometimes people don’t really understand how hard that road can be. Kennilos has been around media and creative spaces for a while, and now he’s pushing his own brand and story with Ninja Sun.

I started looking into the comic, reading reviews, seeing people talk about it online, and I said honestly… why not check it out for myself? But before I buy it, I wanna bring him on the show so we can really talk. We wanna pick his brain a little bit about the comic world, independent creators, branding, networking, and what’s really going on out here for people trying to make a name for themselves creatively.

This ain’t just about promoting a comic book. This is really about shining light on Black creators that are out here building their own lane and refusing to give up on their vision.
