A man gesturing while speaking into a microphone, with the words 'KINGDOM INFLUENCE MEDIA' displayed prominently above.

I don’t know about you all, but I am just exhausted with the news cycle lately. Every time I turn on the TV or scroll through my phone, there’s something new about Trump. Now I hear he’s decided he’s going to sue the New York Times. And I just sit here thinking—really? This is what it’s come down to? Out of everything going on in this country, lawsuits against media outlets are the priority?

I’m not saying the media is perfect—far from it. But when I look around and see families struggling to pay bills, people worrying about losing their jobs, groceries costing more than they used to, and rent climbing sky high, I can’t help but feel like the man at the center of all this attention is worried about the wrong things. Why does it seem like he spends more time fighting with the press and social media than he does trying to fix the economy or help everyday Americans?

It disturbs me because this isn’t new. I’ve seen it time and time again. Instead of focusing on issues that actually affect us, he’s going after nonsense. And I can’t be the only one tired of it. We deserve a leader who pays more attention to the real problems we face than to Twitter posts and lawsuits. If he spent half the energy he spends battling news outlets on actually working to make this country better, maybe “Make America Great Again” would mean something real. But as it stands, I think that slogan needs a rewrite: “Ruin America Even More.”

Because let’s be honest—look at where we are. Divided, bitter, tired, angry. People can say what they want about him doing great things for America, but in my eyes, he’s left more destruction than progress. And it baffles me that so many people still cling to this idea that he’s some kind of savior. How can he save America when he couldn’t even keep his own businesses afloat without running into bankruptcy?

I’ll admit, I’m fed up. I’m fed up with the drama, fed up with the chaos, fed up with watching leaders focus on themselves while families like mine sit here scraping by. And maybe this is just my opinion, but it feels like the truth. The truth is, America doesn’t need another distraction or another circus act—we need change. Real change.

But here’s where I get personal. I believe that change isn’t going to come from another politician swooping in with fancy words and empty promises. I think the change we need is spiritual. We’ve drifted so far away from our morals and from knowing who God is. This country was never meant to survive off greed, lies, and division. It was meant to thrive when we put God first. And when I look around at what we’re dealing with now, I can see exactly why things feel so broken.

It hurts to see how far we’ve fallen. Families torn apart by politics, neighbors turning on each other, churches splitting over party lines. This isn’t what God created us for. He called us to love one another, to stand together, to build each other up. But instead, we’re watching leaders tear things down piece by piece while too many of us cheer them on.

I’m not writing this to argue or to stir up more anger. I’m writing because I care. Because I’m tired of seeing this country spiral, and I know I’m not alone. I believe we can do better. I believe if we turn our eyes back to God, if we start putting our morals above our politics, if we remember what it means to serve instead of fight, then maybe we can still turn things around.

So yes, I think Trump suing the New York Times is ridiculous. I think it’s another distraction, another show for the cameras. But I also think it’s a wake-up call. A reminder that if we keep looking to people like him to fix things, we’re going to stay disappointed. The real healing, the real change, starts with us—choosing faith, choosing morals, choosing God over all the noise.

That’s just my heart on it. Maybe some will agree, maybe some won’t. But I had to say it. Because I’m tired of the shenanigans, tired of the nonsense, and ready for something real.

Yes, I also agree that I think that it’s really sad that we are adding like children and we have a bunch of grown baby adults in the White House. I don’t understand why you’re such a big deal about social media. Anyhow. Back in the day I remember our president’s not being concerned about social media more or less being on social media. But right now things have definitely taken a turn. I really miss the 1980s, the 1970s you name it. I will take anything besides 2025. It seems like the later we get into generations that the crazier people get.

I think its far past crazy to think he has a case. Everytime he see something that is not favorable to him, he wants to sue. he is like a child wearing a huge diaper. I really wish he would grow up.
