I was out doing some landscaping and needed to pick up some Kolar Scape gray drainage rock for my yard. I ordered the 14.1-liter (0.5 cu. ft.) bag through DoorDash because I wanted to save myself a trip to the store.

The only problem I had was that the bag arrived split open. Since it had a tear in it, some of the drainage rocks had already spilled out before it even got to me. That’s frustrating because you’re paying for a full bag, but you’re not actually getting everything you paid for.
I know accidents happen, but heavy bags like drainage rock should really be checked before they’re delivered. If the bag is damaged, customers end up losing part of the product while still paying full price.
Has anyone else had this happen with landscaping supplies? Whether it’s drainage rock, mulch, or soil, if you’re paying for a full bag, you should receive a full bag. It’s something that stores and delivery services really need to pay closer attention to.
